Princess of Mithila
King Janaka found her in the furrow as he ploughed a field for a sacrifice, so she is Bhumija, daughter of the Earth. Wife of Rama, she was carried off by Ravana and held firm in the Ashoka grove. At the end of the Uttara Kanda she returns into the earth.
Found, not born: Janaka raised her as his daughter. The tree draws this with the found-or-adopted line.
