Sources and method
Every relation is checked against the Valmiki Ramayana, and every card names the kanda it comes from. Where the text or its recensions disagree, the card says so. Names and kinships from later works are marked ✦ and drawn with a long-dashed line. When a mother is inferred because Valmiki names only the father, the card says that too.
