Queen of Kishkindha
Wise queen of Vali and daughter of Sushena. She warned Vali against fighting Sugriva; after his death she became Sugriva’s queen.
After Vali’s death Valmiki calls her Sugriva’s wife (Kishkindha Kanda 33), but records no wedding, and Angada condemns Sugriva for taking his elder brother’s wife. So the tree draws no marriage line between them.
